COP28: Rotary Hosts Panel Discussion on Climate Crisis Impact on Women and Girls
DUBAI, 30 November 2023 - Rotary, in partnership with the Global CSR Foundation, is hosting a panel discussion titled "Climate Crisis and Health of Women and the Girl Child: A Gender Perspective." This session will delve into the disproportionate impact of climate change on women and the girl child, highlight climate change as a "threat multiplier," increasing socio-economic and political tensions, and emphasize the need for gender-focused solutions in climate strategies.
