Gary C.K. Huang

Gary C.K. Huang is currently an adviser for Wah Lee Industrial Corp. and Bank of Panhsin. He is also a director of Federal Corporation and Sunty Property Development.

A Rotarian since 1976, Huang has served RI as vice president, director, Rotary Foundation trustee, International Assembly group discussion leader, regional session leader, task force member and coordinator, committee member and chair, and district governor. He wrote about his experiences in business and Rotary in his book “Finding Solutions, Not Excuses”. Huang has been awarded the National Civic Service Award by the Federation of Non-Profit Associations and the Outstanding Community Service Award by the Ministry of the Interior R.O.C.

He is a recipient of the RI Service Above Self Award and a Presidential Citation, and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award.

Anne L. Matthews

Anne L. Matthews, a former director for the South Carolina Department of Education, is president of Matthews and Associates, an educational consulting firm. A member of Leadership South Carolina, she also served on numerous boards, including the board of her undergraduate alma mater. Matthews received two presidential appointments from President Ronald Reagan.

A Rotarian since 1989, Matthews has served RI as Rotary Foundation trustee, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI president’s representative, lead seminar trainer, RI training leader, and district governor.

She is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award. A multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Benefactor, and Major Donor, Matthews is also a charter member of The Rotary Foundation’s Bequest Society and the Paul Harris Society.


Andy Smallwood

Andy Smallwood is an attorney in private practice specializing in corporate, banking, real estate, and international law. He is licensed in both the federal and state courts.

A Rotarian since 1981, Smallwood has served RI as Council on Legislation representative, RI president’s representative, Permanent Fund national adviser, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI training leader, Polio Eradication Private Sector Initiative chair, leaders’ seminar trainer, and district governor. He is treasurer of Rotarians Eliminating Malaria: A Rotarian Action Group.

Smallwood is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife, Anita, are Major Donors and charter members of The Rotary Foundation’s Bequest Society and the Paul Harris Society.


Ann-Britt Åsebol

Ann-Britt Åsebol is an education consultant with her own business and a member of the Swedish parliament. She is a former teacher, headmaster, and teachers’ trainer at the University College in Dalarna, and is credited with starting a high school, Falu Frigymnasium. She is president of Arkivcentrum Dalarna, an enterprise organization.

Åsebol has been a Rotarian since 1993 and has served RI as RI president’s representative, Council on Legislation representative, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, regional RI membership coordinator, leaders’ seminar trainer, RI training leader, and district governor.

A Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation, Åsebol has participated in service projects throughout Nepal and Russia.


John B. Boag

John B. Boag is a consultant in the law firm of Everingham Solomons with specialist accreditation in property law. A member of the local, regional, and state law societies, he also has been active in the Tamworth Base Hospital and St. Andrews Retirement Village.

A Rotarian since 1980, Boag has served RI as RI president’s representative, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, task force member, Foundation Alumni Resource Group member, Rotary information counselor, RI training leader, and district governor. He also served as vice chair of the 2007 and 2010 Councils on Legislation.

He and his wife, Dianna, are Benefactors of The Rotary Foundation.


Jacques di Costanzo

Jacques di Costanzo is a gastroenterologist with the University Hospitals of Marseille. A history enthusiast, he is the president of Préhistoire, Epistémologie, Philosophie and the vice president of Société Napoléonienne.

Di Costanzo has been a Rotarian since 1989. He has served RI as RI training leader, RI president’s representative, resource group zone coordinator, and district governor. He chairs the French division of the Rotary Leadership Institute and has served as president of the France-Egypt Intercountry Committee since 2011.


Celia Elena Cruz de Giay

Celia Elena Cruz de Giay, an educator and freelance journalist, is editor of Vida Rotaria, the official Rotary regional magazine of Argentina. She is also vice president of Giay Agropecuaria SA, a livestock and agriculture business. In her community, she is a member of SADE Arrecifes and the Hope Foundation.

A Rotarian since 1994, Giay has served RI as RI president’s representative, Annual Programs Fund strategic adviser, committee member and chair, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI training leader, and district governor.

She and her husband, Luis, are Benefactors and Major Donors of The Rotary Foundation. Giay is also a  recipient of the Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and RI’s Service Above Self Award.


Mary Beth Growney Selene

Mary Beth Growney Selene is founder and president of Ryan Signs Inc. A non-lawyer fee arbitrator, she is a member of the Client Security Fund for the State Bar of Wisconsin. She is active with the What If? Foundation, which supports children living in Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

A Rotarian since 1987, Growney Selene has served RI as RI president’s representative, Permanent Fund national adviser, Annual Programs Fund strategic adviser, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI training leader, Council on Legislation representative, and district governor.

Growney Selene is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service. She and her husband, Alan, are Major Donors and Bequest Society and Rotary Foundation Sustaining Members.


Seiji Kita

Seiji Kita is the CEO of Shinken Company Ltd., and executive director of the Saitama Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Kita has served as director of the city’s construction industry association. He is also vice chair of the Saitama Prefecture Athletics Association and chair of the Saitama Youth Sumo Council. 

A Rotarian since 1982, Kita has served RI as regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI president’s representative, committee vice chair, and district governor.

He is a recipient of The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and its Distinguished Service Award and the founder of the Seiji and Nobuko Kita Endowed Fund. Kita is a Major Donor and a member of the Foundation’s Bequest Society, Paul Harris Society, and Arch C. Klumph Society.


Holger Knaack

Holger Knaack has been a partner in the real estate company Knaack KG since 1993. Previously, he was partner and manager of the bakery Knaack Enterprises. He is chair of the Foundation Karl Adam.

A Rotarian since 1991, Knaack has served RI as RI president’s representative, Council on Legislation representative, resource group zone coordinator, RI training leader, and district governor. He also chaired the Multidistrict Youth Exchange Program for all German districts.


Larry A. Lunsford

Larry A. Lunsford is senior vice president and CFO for Bernstein-Rein Advertising Inc. A past president of the Truman State University National Alumni Association, he also was treasurer of the Epilepsy Foundation for the Heart of America.

A Rotarian since 1991, Lunsford has served RI as RI president’s representative, zone institute chair, Rotary public image coordinator, Rotary Foundation alumni coordinator, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI training leader, International Assembly leaders’ seminar trainer, and district governor. In 1982, he was a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar to Australia.

Lunsford is a recipient of The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and RI’s Service Above Self Award.


Takeshi Matsumiya

Takeshi Matsumiya has been director of Matsumiya Dental Clinic since 1977. A member of the Japan Dental Association, he is past director of the Chigasaki Dental Association. He is active in the local chamber of commerce and industry.

Matsumiya has been a Rotarian since 1982 and has served RI as RI president’s representative, resource group zone coordinator, RI training leader, and district governor.

He and his wife, Shigeko, are Major Donors and members of the Bequest Society of The Rotary Foundation.


Gideon Peiper

Gideon Peiper, an architect in Tel Aviv, specializes in the design of public buildings. He has served as chair of Elah, a psychosocial support center for Dutch immigrants, secretary of the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund Board, and vice chair of the Israel Platform.

A Rotarian since 1978, Peiper has served RI as regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, task force and committee member, RI training leader, and district governor.

Peiper and his wife, Chen, are Major Donors. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow and a Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation and has received its Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award.

P.T. Prabhakar is managing director of P.T. Power Gear (P) Ltd., engaged in systems engineering and marketing of Siemens switch gears, motors, and programmable logic controllers. He is the founder and project chair of a blood bank in Chennai that is supported by Rotarians.

Steven Snyder

Steven Snyder has been president of Gold Rush Chevrolet-Subaru since 1986. He is past president of the California New Car Dealers Association and past president of two chambers of commerce and a hospital foundation. He also founded two banks.

Bryn Styles

Bryn Styles was owner and president of two retail pharmacies, which he operated in partnership with his spouse since 1980. He is a member of the Ontario Pharmacist Association and has served as a member of the National Board of the YMCA.

A Rotarian since 1986, Styles has served RI as Council on Legislation representative, RI president’s representative, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, and district governor.

Styles received RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service. He and his wife, Randy, are members of the Bequest Society and Arch C. Klumph Society.


Michael F. Webb

Michael F. Webb is a chartered accountant in private practice. A fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, he also serves as treasurer and trustee of various local and national charitable organizations.

Sang Koo Yun

Sang Koo Yun has been president of Dongsuh Corporation, an architectural materials trading and engineering firm, since 1985. He is chair of the Korean National Trust Cultural Heritage Committee and its foundation and a steering committee member of the International Organization of National Trusts.

A Rotarian since 1987, Yun has served RI as a Future Vision trainer, member of the Reach Out to Africa Ad Hoc Committee, resource group zone coordinator, RI training leader, and Rotary’s centennial district governor. He cochairs the Keep Mongolia Green Project Committee for Zones 9 and 10A.
