Online district grant applications now available

Districts that have qualified can now apply online for 2013-14 district grants, which can be used to support humanitarian projects, scholarships, vocational training teams, cultural exchanges, or service activities on the local or international level.

District grants give Rotarians more freedom in determining how to use their District Designated Funds (DDF) and districts may also DDF to support global grants or PolioPlus.

To participate in district grants:

• Clubs: Contact your district leaders and suggest activities to fund.
  
• District leaders: Complete the district qualification process and qualify your clubs.
  
• District leaders: Compile activities to be funded and complete the online district grant application through Member Access.

Under Rotary's new grant model, also known as Future Vision, districts may apply for one district grant each year to support activities that meet that district's interests and needs. Learn more about the new grant model.
