Rotary International and the Dollywood Foundation's Imagination Library have renewed their collaborative relationship to work together to promote early childhood reading.

Under the service partner agreement, Rotary clubs in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States are encouraged to support the Imagination Library, which provides a book each month to children from birth until age five.

Rotary clubs in more than 300 communities have been working with the Imagination Library since 2009 to put books into the hands of children in communities both large and small. Watch a video of music legend Dolly Parton thanking Rotarians for their support. Also, see a video of Dolly explaining why she started the program in 1996 in her native Sevier County, Tennessee. You can read more about Rotary’s work with the Imagination Library in the March issue of The Rotarian.
