R otary training meetings prepare incoming officers and provide continuing education to all Rotarians. The district training committee, which the district trainer chairs, works closely with governors-elect to coordinate training for incoming officers and with the governor to arrange for continuing education.

Because clubs and districts change leadership each Rotary year, preparing leaders for their terms of service is essential to Rotary’s future. The district training committee is responsible for ensuring that all training meetings enhance the knowledge and skills of club and district leaders so they can meet their responsibilities and keep all Rotarians up to date on Rotary.
