Ask the RI President

President Wilf Wilkinson answers your questions

Q: Why is attendance at weekly club meetings important?

Wilf Wilkinson

Attending weekly club meetings allows members to enjoy their club’s fellowship, enrich their professional and personal knowledge, and meet other business and community leaders in their area. Many larger communities offer clubs with different meeting times, including early morning, lunch, after work, and evening, giving people the chance to make up a meeting at another club – often a very enjoyable experience.

It's at their own club meetings, however, that Rotarians really learn about the needs of their community, both locally and internationally. Indeed, that's where they're provided the opportunity to serve and to learn how Rotary Shares.

President Wilkinson would like to hear your questions. Please e-mail him , and he will try to respond in an upcoming edition of Interactive .
