Fast facts about leadership

  • Harry Ruggles, one of the founding Rotarians, is known as the original recruitment leader. He’s credited with introducing as many as one-third of the first 200 members to Rotary.
  • At the 2007 RI Convention in Salt Lake City, 2,665 Rotarians took the lead and signed up for next year’s convention in Los Angeles. It was a record number of advance registrants.
