Rotary Centers for International Studies in peace and conflict resolution
– The Rotary World Peace Fellowships program allows students to obtain master’s degrees at one of seven universities located in Argentina, Australia, England, Japan, and the United States.

Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies program
– Open to professionals, this three-month program is offered at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. Read about this program in the February 2007 issue of The Rotarian.

Rotary Friendship Exchange
– Rotarians and their families travel to another country, where they stay as guests of local Rotarians.

World Community Service
– Rotary clubs from two or more countries work together on a community service project. Find potential projects in the WCS Projects Exchange Database .

Humanity in Motion media kit
– Available on DVD and CD-ROM, this media kit contains television, print, Internet, and outdoor ad designs with the theme that Rotary promotes peace through educational programs.

Intercountry committees
– Intercountry committees facilitate home visits between Rotarians from two countries and strengthen friendships and service relationships that can lead to international projects.

The Rotary Foundation Global Alumni Service to Humanity Award
– This honor recognizes outstanding alumni who have fostered understanding and peace through service to humanity and whose achievements have enriched their profession or vocation.

International Day of Peace – Observed on 21 September every year, this United Nations observance encourages practical acts of peace.

World Understanding Month
– February is World Understanding Month on the Rotary calendar. On 23 February, each club gives special recognition to Rotary’s commitment to international understanding, friendship, and peace.
