RI Recognition of Outstanding Rotaract Project
Each year, hundreds of Rotaract clubs submit details about their exceptional community or international service projects to RI.

2007 outstanding projects
International
- International: Rotaract Club of the University of Calgary (District 5360, Canada) for “Project Nicaragua” (provide composting bathrooms, water filters, economic stoves, and regular medical check-ups to underprivileged communities in Nicaragua)
Regional
- Africa: Rotaract Club of KNUST (District 9100, Ghana) for their “Leukemia Awareness Drive” (create awareness of leukemia, fund treatment of leukemia patients and research on the disease, and help create an African registry of bone marrow donors)
- Asia Pacific: Rotaract Club of Munting Pag-asa Davao (District 3860, Philippines) for “Bring Back the Glow of the Filipino Child” (six-month comprehensive nutrition project for 400 school children)
- Europe: Rotaract Club of Diyarbakir (District 2430, Turkey) for “Simplified Reading-Writing Education” (CLE literacy project for adults and children)
- South Asia: Rotaract Clubs of Colombo and Colombo Regent (District 3220, Sri Lanka) for “Reach Out” (construction of nine schools in tsunami-affected areas)
- South and Latin America: Rotaract Club of Panama (District 4240, Panama) for their “Self-Sustainable Farms Project” (funding and construction of five farms in rural areas)
- United States, Canada, Caribbean: Twin Cities Rotaract (District 5960, USA) for their “Day Camp Play Area” (construction and funding of play areas at a summer camp)
