Haley's winning postcard design.

A postcard designed by the president of the Interact Club of West Feliciana High School in St. Francisville, Louisiana, USA, has been selected as the winner of the Interact Peace Through Service Postcard Contest.

More than two dozen designs were received from Interactors around the world during the contest, which is part of the celebration of Interact’s 50th anniversary. Interactors were asked to illustrate how Interact contributes to peace and international understanding. View all the postcard entries.

Haley, the artist of the winning design, and her mother will receive round trip airfare to the Rotary Global Peace Forum in Honolulu, Hawaii, 25-27 January. The forum is the second of three, and will feature Nobel Peace Prize laureate Aung San Suu Kyi of Myanmar as keynote speaker.

The airfare prize was part of  2.5 million miles Rotary received last year through the United Airlines 10 Million Charity Miles Giveaway. United is once again giving away 10 million miles to its charity miles partners as part of a year-end gift. Charities receive a portion of the miles based on the percentage of overall votes they receive through 25 December. You can vote once a day from each of your devices such as laptop, smartphone, tablet, etc. Your vote could help Rotary win more miles.
