Current Position: Teaching French (mother tongue) and modern dance in a minority French school in English-speaking Canada. She is also a member of two committees that monitor education in Ontario through research and standardised tests. She works as part of the comite de sensibilte for the standardised literacy tests for grade 3 and grade 6 students as well as the test de competences linguistiques (language competency, or literacy) for grade 10 students. The mandate is to ensure that the content of standardised tests are not offensive to minorities (i.e. cultural or religious minorities, disabled students) and that the tests are void of sexist or racially sensitive content, etc.

This is a two year program, one year in Denmark and one year at the Swedish University for Agricultural Sciences in Alnarp (beginning Sep. 2008). At the end she will have two master's (on in Forestry and one in Land and Conservation Management). There is a conflict management element to the coursework in Denmark and her personal interest is to work in conflict management with regard to allocation of forestry resources.
