 Learn about stewardship

The Rotary Foundation is conducting the 2008 Stewardship and District Simplified Grant Seminar in Los Angeles to support its efforts to share stewardship information and to provide training about the Humanitarian Grants Program.

While this seminar will focus primarily on districts in the northwest region of zones 22, 23, and 24, district leaders from other zones are welcome to attend.

The seminar is designed to emphasize both grant stewardship and assist district leaders in using best practices to implement and report on District Simplified Grants. Topics to be covered include the following: creating a viable project; cultivating and sustaining partnerships and communication; raising and spending Rotary Foundation funds; recordkeeping and reporting; and District Simplified Grants best practices. There also will be an open forum for discussion of other humanitarian grants topics.
