How is a global grant different from a district grant? These two main grant types are part of the new Rotary Foundation grant model to be released 1 July 2013 that is currently being tested by 100 districts participating in the Future Vision Pilot.

To learn more about these grant types, take the Choosing a Rotary Foundation Grant e-learning module. This scenario-based module allows you to pick the grant type that is most appropriate for various types of projects.

Developing sustainable projects is also key to the Future Vision Plan. The Project and Activity Sustainability e-learning module covers general sustainability principles outlined by the Foundation that can be applied to a variety of projects and activities. For club- and district-developed global grants, Rotarians will need to incorporate components that help ensure the sustainability of their efforts.
