District governors-elect follow up on lessons learned at International Assembly
Rotary International News -- 10 February 2009
Another successful International Assembly has come to a close, and over 500 district governors-elect and their spouses from around the world are returning home to implement the ideas shared and strategies learned at the assembly.
District team training seminars will take place this month, where district governors-elect will motivate and build their district leadership teams to support clubs. In March, presidents-elect training seminars will be held to prepare and train presidents-elect for their year in office. In April or May, club presidents, club secretaries, treasurers, and club committee chairs will be trained for their positions at the district assemblies.
By the start of the new Rotary year, district and club leaders will be well prepared for an effective year.
