StrategiesThe RC of Jaro Centraline created a program termed Small Change. This program is in response to the call of R.I. President Jonathan Majiyagbe for Rotarians all over the world to Lend a Hand. Every meeting we contribute small amounts and the collection is given to a Rotarian on rotation basis. That Rotarian has to perform a small act of kindness to be reported during each subsequent meeting. Some examples include: handing surprised cash gift to security guards, giving food to some street children, helped some working students buy instructional materials, paid for college placement examination fees of poor students.

Membership Element(s)retention, retention, recruitment, club celebrations
IssuesUndertaken a year long effort to re-establish ourselves as an active and functioning club in our small community after several years of barely surviving. While our community was withstanding a 3 year downtown highway reconstruction project, so much of our commerce and community spirit was hanging by a very thin thread. A few Rotarians were determined to survive and make our club active and vibrant once again, and use as the catalyst our 75th anniversary celebration.
StrategiesOur plan was to make it a community celebration, invite representation of all businesses, professions, and organizations, in our village to join us at our local historical house, the Mills Mansion, for a special event, announce our plans for several project and fundraisers for the next year, and invite participation of all those in the village and town who were also interested in Mt. Morris revitalization to work with us. We have since had several spaghetti dinners as fundraisers and planned fireworks displays, Easter egg hunts, dictionary projects at school, Bellamy days, and other activities. With each activity we have designed in a recruitment component where we share information about what we are doing.
ResultsOur spirit and reaching out have resulted in our growth from 3 to 11 members and we are just beginning.

Issues
StrategiesThe RC of Pretoria Hatfield organized a get to know rotary evening where speeches about community, vocational and international projects were given. Two videos were shown to get potential members interested and get relatively new members and their family more acquainted with the work of the club and RI. Fellowship and enthusiasm also functioned as a way of getting people interested.
Results4 new members out of 9 newly introduced people, more involved members and better PR by everyone.
