Assess your club's leadership plan
Rotary International News -- 9 October 2009
As you enter the second half of the Rotary year, take time to assess your Club Leadership Plan. Is your club meeting its goals in each Avenue of Service? Are you getting the support you need from your district to meet annual goals? Consider whether your club is taking advantage of the benefits of the Club Leadership Plan in the following ways:
- All members have a chance to voice their opinions on the future of the club.
- Simplified club operations give members more time to focus on service and fellowship.
- Members are more involved and interested in becoming club and district leaders.
- Membership retention rates increase as members have greater participation in the club’s activities.
Consult the Club Leadership Plan (245-EN) to review the implementation steps, and determine what you need to do to improve or update your club’s plan.
