The World Health Organization and UNICEF hosted a meeting with key partner organizations including Rotary International, in Geneva on 18 June to formally launch the new Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) 2010-12 strategic plan for eradicating wild poliovirus.The meeting is being held to build on the gains already made in 2010 and to galvanize new action on polio eradication.Read more on the meeting.Learn more about the GPEI strategic plan
