  • Helping Kids

It’s all about the kids in this video by Howard Pell of the Rotary Club of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His club sponsored the 50th alumni day carnival for children and alumni of Kids Ability, a center for children with disabilities. The facility was founded by, and continues to be supported by, Rotarians. "This is what Rotary is all about: helping others, especially helping kids," Pell says.

Blogroll:

  • GSE Africa

Young Rotarians from District 9600 (Australia) share their experiences during a Group Study Exchange to southern Africa. GSEs are designed to develop professional and leadership skills among young people to better prepare them to address the needs of their communities and an increasingly global workplace.

  • The Candid Cow

Freelance photographer Ruth Ann Angus, a member of the Rotary Club of Morro Bay, California, USA, blogs about Rosemary Stasek, an American living in Kabul, Afghanistan, who runs an organization called A Little Help. Stasek visited Angus’s club to share insights into life in Afghanistan.
