  The Rotary Club of Riverhead, New York, USA, held its eighth annual variety show, with the men of the club dancing a ballet to raise funds for its charitable work. The show took place on 12 May 2007 at Riverhead High School.

  The Grammy Award-nominated rapper Snoop Dogg made a surprise appearance recently at a Baton Rouge, Louisiana, USA, Rotary club in support of his new friend, Louisiana State University Coach Les Miles, who was the speaker for the day. Snoop Dogg, in town for a concert, met Miles earlier in the day. The rapper is a big advocate of youth football with his own Snoop Youth Football League.
