PDG Michael W. Abdalla, Member of the U.S. Polio Eradication Advocacy Task Force, detailed Rotary's 25 year progress towards conquering Polio. Dr Abdalla outlined the new timeline made possible by improved vaccines and the generous support of The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to globally eradicate Polio. Both speakers received a personal recogntion signed by Bill Gates, Sr. for their efforts toward making the world Polio Free.
