We found a methodology created by District 5960 that is easy to learn (they will train you), and that can in 4 hours, give a club a blueprint for the next 5 years. WThe trained District facilitation team has led the planning for 17 clubs, and all have been delighted, and have said they would highly recommend it to others. Where my / our club would be after five years? In very first year, we had a student guidence seminar for students of three rural schools, apprearing for SSC level (10th Std) examination. Total number of beneficiaries were near to century mark, and we felt that this is the need of the community. Certainly we will make this as one of the annual program. I strongly recomand that each club should have such annula program, where community will first think about your club.

For a local Rotary Club, that vision can only be realized if local leaders can align the benefits of the vision to the purpose of Rotary and help every member discover their individual role in the process of achieving that vision over time, and generate the natural enthusiasm that comes from "service above self" for the realization of lofty goals.

Club Presidents tend to outperform predecessors by applying certain tactical moves with the help of a trustworthy team. Planning, actions and decisions of the club presidents are, therefore, grossly meant to address tactical issues. Persons directly involved in supporting the club President are given to understand that their targets need to be attained within next nine months for the purpose of district and international recognition. Many clubs carry on successfully with certain long term projects – their dream projects that make the clubs known to the district and even globally. If we look very closely, we can find that tenure of members directly involved in such dream projects is more than a year. RI, in my view, should consider offering citation on the basis of sustenance of a project. Tenure of service chairpersons and committee members of a club for the purpose of enhancing club’s strategic plan should be, like RI directors, more than a year. Today, strategic vision of a club is important to see success strategic vision of RI.
