Thanks to a Rotary Foundation Health, Hunger and Humanity (3-H) Grant in Brazil, 10-year-old Ângelo Gabriel Lacas dos Santos learned to read and write poetry -- his passion. Ângelo is one of 72,600 children who benefited from the concentrated language encounter program. Rotary Images/Alyce Henson

Alan Coyne´s son´s camera catches in the gulls flock a deeper meaning. In the same way Rotary works. When something happens some gulls (rotarians) starts and soon there are thousands of wings (helping hands) flathering to give charater (solve the problems) to the beautiful landscape we see. Much more beautiful than only the sea and the horizon.
