Heart surgery recipients say thank you

Thanks to a Matching Grant collaboration between Korean districts and the Rotary Club of Tuul, Mongolia, more than 125 Mongolian children have received heart surgery in Korea. In July, a group of the children and their parents got a chance to thank the Koreans personally when a delegation of Korean governors visited the Tuul club's weekly meeting.

I flew to NY for my heart surgery with President Ronald and Nancy Reagan on Air Force One. I have had the honor to reunite with Nancy Reagan, Harriet Hodges, and my biological family in Korea (as I was adopted by an american family after my surgery) in 2007. During these reunions, I have met Sangkoo Yun, Robert Mounts, Warren Georcke, Robbie Donno, Arthur Stein, and many other people including rotarians that were involved with my history. It has been so heartwarming and truly a blessing for me. I have decided to work for the Gift of Life full time and want to create awareness and raise money for the many children needing lifesaving heart surgeries around the world. Thank you ALL for giving me a second chance in life!!
