It is an incredible experience...I am currently on my second exchange. I first did a short term exchange between senior and junior years of high school and then decided I wanted to do a full year after just having the small taste. I am currently in FRANCE, and overall enjoying it. I know there are so many things I will take away from this experience that will stay with me forever, and I know I will be staying involved with rotary and with youth exchange for the rest of my life...THANK YOU ALLLLLLL (the only reproach I have on the video is that it does not portray that there are hard parts...its not all peaches...there are definitely days that are sour lemons...overall it is incredible though)

It is great that this is on the websites main page because soo many Rotarians shy away from their club being apart of this amazing opportunity. I am a former Youth Exchange student from Pennsylvania to Quebec, and just that short distance impacted my life more than I could have ever imagined. I have friends all over the world still calling me today, and proudly become a 3rd Generation Rotarian, now heading an Interact Club for my Club. I hope to lead us soon enough in the direction of Youth Exchange and expose others to the world out of this world. Thank You Rotary for this life altering experience.

It was a pleasure for our district to host Majla. I am so proud of her and all the rotarians and people who have encouraged and nurtured her along the way. As a foot note...Majla went home, completed her studies and then earned a scholarship and is back in the US studying at Harvard Unversity. I am convinced Majla will help change the world and make it a better place to live!

The experiences of Majla Custo, as a GSE participant, throws adquate light on this time tested programme of RI and also gives a view to the freshers.

As a member of the Rotary 6400 Youth Exchange Committee I am proud of the job the Majla and Sue did on this video project promoting the values of Youth Exchange. Good Luck Majla in your studies.
