2013-14 vice president and treasurer announced

RI President-elect Ron Burton has chosen Anne L. Matthews as RI vice president and Andy Smallwood as RI treasurer for the 2013-14 Rotary year.

A Rotarian since 1989, Matthews is a member of the Rotary Club of Columbia East, Columbia, South Carolina, USA . She has served as Foundation trustee, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, RI president’s representative, lead seminar trainer, committee and task force member, RI training leader, and district governor. Matthews is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award. A multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Anne also is a Rotary Foundation Benefactor, Bequest Society member, and Major Donor.

Smallwood is a member of the Rotary Club of Gulfway-Hobby Airport, Houston, Texas, USA, and has been a Rotarian since 1981. He has served RI as Council on Legislation representative, RI president’s representative, task force zone and area coordinator, Permanent Fund national adviser, regional Rotary Foundation coordinator, Polio Eradication Private Sector Campaign chair, committee member, RI training leader, leaders’ seminar trainer, and district governor. Smallwood is a recipient of RI’s Service Above Self Award and The Rotary Foundation’s Citation for Meritorious Service and Distinguished Service Award. He and his wife, Anita, are Major Donors and charter members of the Bequest Society and Paul Harris Society of The Rotary Foundation.
