Fast Facts about Rotary and Route 66

The first Rotary club founded in Chicago by Paul Harris and friends, is 2,000 miles up Route 66 from the 2008 RI Convention in Los Angeles.
Lebanon, Missouri, USA, is home to a Route 66 museum. The Rotary Club of Lebanon donated the funds and volunteered to help set the museum up. Rotarian Cathy Dame is the director of the museum.

Sixty miles south of Route 66 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, USA, is a former home of Herbert Taylor, the author of Rotary’s Four-Way Test.
Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, California, USA, just outside of the 2008 RI Convention host city limits, is the official end of Route 66.
