Data integration

OneRotary program helps RI and Rotarians share information

O neRotary lets Rotary clubs and districts integrate with RI's databases, which simplifies how they communicate with RI as well as improves the quality of information.

Participation in OneRotary is voluntary. Clubs and districts retain their autonomy and may opt in or out of OneRotary at any time. For security and privacy reasons, a club can only view and update its own member information.

There are a few ways your club or district can participate in site integrations with RI.

Use OneRotary to integrate your membership database

OneRotary allows Rotary clubs and districts the option of linking their databases directly to the main membership database maintained at RI World Headquarters. So when a club member's contact information is updated in a club's database, the information is updated in RI's database as well. This integration is done on a schedule determined by the club's or district's website provider. This integration eliminates duplicate data entry efforts and leads to more accurate information, such as on semiannual reports.

How to take advantage of this benefit

For integrating membership databases, club or district officers must first log on to Member Access and authorize their website or database vendor through the club data form. Then they should contact their database provider for assistance and step-by-step instructions. Most vendors also require an authorization on their end in addition to the RI authorization. Integration will only occur when both authorizations are complete.

Use OneRotary to integrate login authentication

Rotarians now can use the same login information -- an email address and password -- to log into Rotary International's Member Access site and their club or district website.

Participating vendors

  • Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland
  • District 1050
  • District 1060

How to take advantage of this benefit

The login integration does not need any authorization from the club. This is a service that can be implemented by each club website provider as a value-added service to their Rotarian audience. Contact your participating vendor for more information.

How to participate if your web or database provider is not yet an official OneRotary partner

To start the process, contact your database provider or website administrator to learn if they are working in partnership with Rotary International. If your database provider isn't yet a partner, request that they consider doing so. Vendors interested in participating must contact RI to begin the process.
